“Are you being despised or looked down upon? Have you
been rejected? Do you want to give up in life? Or throw in the towel? Just
before you do, I have a message for you-HISTORY WILL ALWAYS REPEAT ITSELF.
Don’t despise your small beginnings. Don’t give up yet” Daniel
K Ansah.
Great
men are ordinary people who have achieved extraordinary things. They are the
commoners with uncommon results. They walk on the face of this earth very
unassuming, quiet and unnoticed. Nothing appreciable about them on the outside.
They are often despised and rejected by men. Few people gave them the chance,
even if any at all.
Most
great men have been a victim of rejection and isolation. They often parade the
face of this earth lonely and alone. Often times, nobody shares their dream and
few people trust in them. Some were declared unintelligent, dumb, un-teachable,
good-for-nothing and hopeless. Others were described vegetables! Jesus was
rejected and despised of men. He was a man of sorrow and acquainted with
grieve. In fact there was nothing to desire of Him (Isaiah 53: 3-4).
Albert
Einstein was declared dumb and uneducable. Consequently, he dropped off from
school. This man later became the greatest thinker of the 21st century. He had
only four months of formal education. Les brown, one of the best motivational
speakers in the America Motivational speakers Hall of Fame, was declared dumb,
mentally uneducable and a vegetable! But today he is a millionaire, life coach
and a motivational speaker.
Tony
Robbins, dropped off from school, everybody wrote him off. This same man is now
a solution-man to his generation. He knows more about psychology of success
than most professors of psychology. A professor of psychology was once asked
‘why do you read books written by Anthony Robbins seeing that he could not even
graduate from college? Hear his response, “nobody
knows about psychology than Tony Robbins”.
In
spite of all these challenges and setbacks, these men rose to become giants,
pacesetters and path blazers in history. They defy all odds. The tides were
against them but they ignored it. They were confronted with huge mountains but
they scaled over it. They had battles but won every single one of them.
Great
men are men with great challenges but overcame every single one of them. The
lower your depth the greater your height. The tougher the battles the stronger
you become. Edmund Burke , the C18th Irish statesman said “ He that struggles with us strengthens our nerves and sharpen our
skills; even our antagonist is our helper” . When a fish swims against the
water currents it develops tougher muscles; a bird that flies against the wind
develops stronger winds.
The
fact that you are going through challenges and stiff opposition does not mean
you are weak, it rather means you are tough. Giants do not waste their energies
on dwarfs. The fact that you still have battles to fight, enemies to overcome
and troublesome issues to deal with means that nature itself recognized you as
a strong man. It means you a great man.
It
is impossible for a strong man to fail in the day of adversity. If you ever
fail , then it means your strength is weak. It is not because the enemy is more
powerful.
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength
is small. Prv24 :10
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above
that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that
ye may be able to bear it.
I cor 10:13
God
trust in you. The devil believes in your strength. Nature knows you can make
it. All creation is waiting for the manifestation of your son ship. You are a child
of destiny. God ordained you for such a time for your generation.
Stop
complaining and quit crying when going through tough times. It is against
royalty for a King to cry. Bible said of Jesus, he shall not cry or lift up his
voice on the street (Isaiah 42: 2). Why?
Because he is a King. Kings are
conscious of their authority and power. They know they have all that it takes
to come out of every situation. Don’t despise your small beginnings. Don’t give
up yet. Are you being despised or looked down upon? Have you been rejected? Do
you want to give up in life? Or throw in the towel? Just before you do, I have
a message for you-HISTORY WILL ALWAYS REPEAT ITSELF.
Great
men have always come from behind.
Successful people have always risen from the ground. They have always
shone out of dark places. They have always emerged prosperous out of poverty.
They have come strong out of weakness and pains. History will always repeat
itself. It does not matter how low you have fallen. You can come from behind.
It is not too late. All is not lost. Just hold on a little while. The clouds
will clear. The rain will come again. The sun will shine again. Keep hope alive
